I found 10 artciles by various writers on tips and advice on how to handle a long distance relationship. I found some of the articles to be beneficial, since I myself am in a long distance relationship. Eventhough my boyfriend lives only 200 miles away, and is only a 3 hour drive away from me, we try and follow the necessary steps to keep our relationship new and going strong while I'm away at school.

kk. This is the longest relationship I've ever been in, and I've been reading a lot of Internet dating advice that makes it sound like *not* acting like a super confident alpha-male 110% of the time will immediately and irrevocably annihilate a girl's attraction to you. Also, I get paranoid about shit like this.

Hi Deborah,

I have to agree with everything that you said in your post this week. I spoke about very similar things on my blog post as well. Your statement, "I also think blogging, webinars, online chatting and having classroom lectures in virtual worlds such as Second Life and other SIM environments are exciting possibilities" reminded me of something that my students and I talked about in a class not too long ago. We were talking about virtual malls We talked about how it would be odd that if everything, including classrooms, turned into virtual reality how odd it would be. They even joked around about how if they could "virtually" hold up the store and steal the money in the cash register, would their online persona go to "virtual" jail? (OK, they are high schoolers; they thought this was hysterically funny).

Anyhow, interesting thoughts about the virtual classrooms.

Nice post!

1. Verse 1: "Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish."
**A person who is willing to be corrected and instructed when they do something wrong, and this could apply even to school not just life, loves knowledge, but a person who does not like to be told what to do, basically, and have authority over their lives, is "brutish" and I guess that means sort of harsh and hard to control. So really it's better to be willing to admit your mistakes and allow people to instruct you on how to avoid making the same mistakes later on, whether it has to do with schoolwork, dealing with life, or anything else.**

2. Verse 11: "He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding."
**The way I understood this verse is that someone who works hard for what they get and is humble about it is going to be more content and satisfied with life than those who follow vain, selfish people and become vain themselves - this type of person does not understand what's wrong with this..**

3. Verse 15: "The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise."
**I remember this verse :) Any fool thinks they are right, because if you're talking about them they don't wanna be wrong and they don't want anyone to think they are wrong, so they automatically try to prove somehow that they are always right, but it only seems that way to them. They think they are always right even when others don't. However, if a fool would just listen to advice of counselors or elders, they will become much wiser (they won't be a fool anymore lol). Someone who is wise is going to listen to others and let people help them when they need it rather than just going off in their own direction and assuming they are always right about whatever the situation is.**

(and I actually have another verse I really like) --->
4. Verse 28: "In the way of righteousness is life: and in the pathway thereof there is no death."
**This verse is pretty plain, sort of.. it says that LIFE is in the way of righteousness. There is no sadness and only joy in the life of a righteous person. The righteous path is pure and if there was no sin, there would be no death on the path of righteousness.**
:) ♥
